Representatives of different religions, including Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Muslims, and Druids, took part in an interfaith blessing of the Quran at Sacramento’s Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on September 11.

“The majority of people don’t want other people’s holy objects to be desecrated,” said Father Anthony Garibaldi. “As a Christian, we don’t want to do anything that we ourselves wouldn’t want,” a local television station quoted him as saying.
